Tree Cutting

The first weekend in December, Peter, Porter, and Bella accompanied Grandma, Grandpa, Eric, Trisch, and kids to find a fresh tree. (Makenna, Charley and I were at the dance studio and missed the adventure.) They romped in the snow until Grandpa spotted it - the perfect tree! Not only is it perfect, but it is also about 18 feet tall - a beast!


It wasn't until the boys unloaded the tree and brought it into the house that Dave realized how big it really was. "It didn't look so big in the forest!" he said looking up at it with shock and bewonderment.


Porter enjoyed playing in the snow and hikin' around with Dad and the gang!


Peter and Eric took turns putting up lights and decor not only standing on a tall ladder, but also using a long pole. It was pretty awesome.
